Nestled in the heart of the city, The Hatchet Inn is Bristol’s oldest pub with a varied and colourful history. Dating back to 1606, its name is inspired by the woodsmen of the nearby¬†Clifton Wood, and the pub has been home for all sorts throughout the centuries, from cock-fighting rings to bare-knuckle boxing, as well as hosting famous regulars like the pirate Blackbeard.

Swing by for a pint of Butcombe and a bowl of Bristol’s finest Mac n Cheese!
