If you ask us, Bristol was made for walkies.
With knotty side streets built for the curious, gloriously expansive, sun-drenched countryside and even a little coastline to enjoy – Bristol is best explored with a furry friend by your side.
Back when we began Butcombe, we dreamt that one day we’d manage a pub in and around our beloved Bristol. It would be a pub which retained the charm, character and ambience which defines English pubs, but offered fresh, forward-thinking food and beer. Oh, and of course, you’d be able to bring your dog too.
That was 1978. Today? Our ambitions are a little grander. With 19 pubs in our stable and many more pubs under license, we’ve been able to bring our dreams to fruition.
Best of all? Where possible, we’ve ensured that you can bring your dog with you to enjoy the experience. Whether you’re out exploring the great outdoors or simply looking for somewhere warm for you and your four-legged friend to take a well-earned rest, you and your dog will find a friendly, treat-filled welcome at Butcombe.
