VELTINS Pilsner has been brewed for 175 years in Grevenstein, a tranquil place in the Sauerland of Germany. Brewed according to the German Purity Law of 1516, “Fresh” VELTINS only uses pure malt, aromatic hops, yeast, and soft water ( the full bodied, soft water still emanates from the original springs in the mountains surrounding Grevenstein, an area of natural beauty protected as a Nature Reserve ).

VELTINS is still a family business founded by Clemens Veltins, the great-great-grandfather of the present owner Suzanne Veltins, and is Germany’s 5th largest brewer producing 1.7m barrels per year!
