Food is served in all 18 of our pubs, except for the Frog & Fiddle in Cheltenham, which has a Bring Your Own food policy.
We have made great efforts to serve high-quality food in all of our pubs. All of our country pubs serve great food and have become destinations for diners and not just drinkers.
At Butcombe we don't do anything by halves and even those pubs who serve less food, such as the Bell and the Prince of Wales, still serve great-quality food at lunchtime. Likewise, the carveries at our two pubs that offer a carvery, have become known for their quality and value: The Malt Shovel, Cannington and The Woolpack, Worle. Beyond that, we do have a few pubs that are as much bistros or restaurants as they are pubs and who are famed for their food, such as Colston Yard in Bristol and the beautiful Mill at Rode.
The Ring O' Bells has recently be nominated for the Somerset Life 'Best Sunday Roast'.
Beer is our business and our pubs reflect that. All 18 of our pubs have at least 3 hand pumps of real ale, great draught lager and loads of great bottled beer, as well as cider, wine, spirits and more. The following pubs are those we consider to be real beer-lovers' paradises, each having at least 4 hand pumps of real ale.
The Cottage at the Baltic Wharf, Bristol and Frog & Fiddle, Cheltenham both have 3 hand pumps of real ale alongside many more pumps of great cider and lager and a huge selection of bottles.
