  • 2005:-  Butcombe relocates to a custom built new Brewery, 2 miles down the road in the village of Wrington… the largest new build Brewery in the UK for the last 25 years!
    • Brew length now a whopping 150 barrels (or 43,200 Pints!)
    • Brewery Shop opens to the Public
    • Butcombe Brewery buys The Long Ashton Cider Company, and launches Ashton Press Medium Dry cider at 4.8% abv.  Ashton Press rapidly becomes the fastest growing cider brand in the West Country
    • The Brewery buys the iconic Prince of Wales in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol
  • 2006:-  Butcombe Brewery is asked by the Brunel 200 Committee to produce the Official Beer celebrating the 200th Birthday of the world’s most famous engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.  Butcombe Brunel IPA at 5% abv is launched to massive critical acclaim, and although planned as a one off, has now established itself as the Brewery’s Winter Beer (available October to March)
    • Cold Filtered Blond, an industry first, and ground breaking product for Butcombe Brewery is launched.  This product is designed to appeal to younger and female drinkers by being served 5° or 6° cooler than the cask version, thus providing an ultimate bridgehead to CASK.
    • The Brewery buys 5 Pubs:
      • The Ring O’ Bells at Hinton Blewitt
      • The Queen Victoria at Priddy
      • The Woolpack at Worle, Nr WsM
      • The Rose and Crown at Hinton Charterhouse
      • The Cross Keys at Rode
