Butcombe Cold Filtered Blond is a delicious Anglo-European fusion. The palest English malt (sometimes known as lager malt) flavoured with the finest Eastern European hops (Styrians from Slovenia and Saaz from Czechoslovakia), combine to deliver a clean tasting, refreshing, easy to drink premium berr at 4.5% ABV.
Cold Filtered Blond is brewed here at Butcombe in exactly the same way as the cask version . . . then chilled at -1 degree in cooling tanks for two weeks, before being filtered and kegged for ease of service. Dispensed at circa 5 degrees cooler than the cask varient, Cold Filtered Blond appeals to a broader range of younger drinkers, whilst establishing a bridgehead, ultimately leading to the Butcombe Cask Range.
Cold Filtered Blond is now appearing at bars at Bristol Airport. |
