Brunel and his fellow engineers challenged our sense of what was possible and in doing so, changed the face of the world. 2006 provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the life, work and legacy of Isambard Kingdom Brunel in the year that marks his 200 year birthday.

Butcombe Brewery is producing an authentic IPA at 5% ABV to coincide with the celebrations. This beer has been nominated by the Brunel 200 Committee as the "Official Beer" for Brunel 200.

The bottled version is available throughout the year. Watch out for it on the SS Great Britain, Great Western Trains and discerning off licenses and shops.
